I’m Victoria Lorenz, from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and I’m a creative design intern at Pacific World Corporation in Los Angeles, California. I work on a diverse range of projects, including package design, new product development, and customer-facing print collateral. In my previous position, I was a creative design intern at L.L.Bean and primarily worked on redesigning the Get Outside Guide on L.L.Bean.com. I also have experience with social media; you may even have seen some of the posts I made on the Quinnipiac University Instagram and TikTok.

My hobbies include drawing, reading, and music. I draw in my sketchbook every morning before work and read most days before going to bed. Right now, I’m reading Einstein’s Dreams by Alan Lightman. Lately, I haven’t been as connected to music as I would like, but I enjoy playing piano, guitar, and violin when I can. A fun fact about me is that while I don’t have any pets, I have a philodendron plant named Avery which I’ve had for about a year and a half!

I work on a MacBook Pro and use the latest version of all apps in the Adobe suite. I’ll use my iPhone 12 mini for my camera in this course.

I have some experience with basic motion graphics and worked primarily in Photoshop timeline, and dabbled in AfterEffects. In this course, I’d like to understand better how professional quality videos are made and become more familiar with audio and video software.
