Victoria Lorenz
Graphic Designer
I am in my third year of an advanced degree program at Quinnipiac University. I am working toward a Bachelor’s in Graphic and Interactive Design with a minor in Fine Arts (spring 2022) and a Master’s in Interactive Media and Communication (spring 2023). I am the president of Quinnipiac’s chapter of Lambda Pi Eta National Communications Honors Society, treasurer of Quinnipiac’s chapter of AIGA, and a member of the university’s honors program.
I’m enthusiastic about becoming a more experienced graphic designer and am eager to contribute to team success through hard work, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. I have a clear understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign and am training in design principles. I am motivated to learn, grow, and excel in the design field. Graphic design allows me to be equally creative and practical because I think critically about visual communication.
Becoming a graphic designer will be very personally fulfilling because it will allow me to reach a variety of communities and therefore serve others in a remarkably unique way. My ability to empathize with others, combined with my passion for design, significantly contribute to my potential to be successful. Thinking critically about design allows me to create the best possible work by considering nearly every possibility, no matter how farfetched. Oftentimes, things that seem out of reach inspire changes that make a big difference. I love design because it’s all about problem-solving, communication, and, most importantly, teamwork.
